South Carolina Pediatric Alliance recognizes having a newborn comes with many feeding questions and new challenges. We want to support, educate and empower you for a lifetime of good health and are pleased to offer comprehensive lactation services by International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC).
Some reasons you may want to meet with an IBCLC include:
- Painful feedings
- Supply concerns
- Engorgement
- Supplementation
- Slow or poor weight gain
- Pumping
- Returning to work
- Introducing solids while breastfeeding
- Prenatal counseling
- Any other challenges or concerns you may be experiencing
